In 2019, Bruno had an idea that he simply had to develop. The concept became a series of pop-up dinners that mirror his culinary experiences and upbringing in Brazil – beginning with his mother’s table as a child and throughout his career as a chef working for some of the most recognizable culinary establishments in the United States.

The Foreigner Experience was born with a 10-seat Menu-Confiance dinner. The project rapidly gained popularity within the local community. Bruno met his now partners, Johnny and Jimmy Tung, and realized that a permanent location was inevitable to bring his concept to more people.

We are thrilled to have opened our door in the trendy neighborhood of Audubon Park in Orlando. We invite you to experience the art of fine dining, where our skilled culinary team carefully crafts every dish.

To complement and elevate your dining experience, we offer a selection of curated wine pairings selected by our sommelier. From rare vintages to new and exciting labels, our wine list features diverse options to suit every palate.

The Chef’s Table style provides a unique dining experience by giving guests an unparalleled view of the kitchen and our team at work. We have up to twelve guests, creating an immersive atmosphere that allows diners to witness the artistry and precision behind each dish.

Bruno Fonseca – Executive Chef

Chef Bruno’s own story growing up in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, moving to the States, and finding his way in different kitchens is what led to the birth of Foreigner.

The concept’s logo, an octopus, is a representation of this journey. The octopus symbolizes creativity, expansion, unpredictability, and braving the unknown — seeing things through the eyes of a foreigner. That’s exactly what Fonseca intends for his guests to encounter with his cooking.

Brett Ware

Brett Ware – Sommelier

For the last decade, Brett has worked in the food and beverage industry while traveling the world for wine, coffee, and beer.

Brett brings a wealth of knowledge in all things beverage, and we are delighted to have him on our team at Foreigner Restaurant.

As a Certified Sommelier, Brett will remind everyone that his heart is in wine, but his true passion is champagne, and we can’t wait for you to see him in his element!
